Angel Mounds Impromptu Field Trip

Since moving to SW Indiana we have been trying to get acclimated and go to lots of different events and places. This past Monday, which was a holiday, I found a free day at a local place called the Angel Mounds. We decided to hit it up and see what it was all about.

First we explored inside the center.

Then we went outside to walk around the grounds. We had a map, but the snow covered the 'path' we were to stay on so it got a little difficult to find the 'path'. So we ended up having to turn around and such.

We had a great time getting out and exploring. We also found a bunch of tracks in the snow. Can you figure out what they are?

It was quite fun trying to decipher the tracks. And then we checked with the staff member and he confirmed what we had found.  I hope you enjoyed exploring with us! What field trips have you gone on lately??
