Lately we have been reading a lot as we are gearing up for the beginning of school (which is only a week away.) And that includes my dear little boy. We've been making sure every time we go to the library that he gets his very own books now too. And let me tell you he LOVES to read.
Right now I think we have a favorite book. I've even had to renew it and have a feeling I might have to again (after we return it - our library only allows one renewal. :( I know it's sad.) The funny thing is that we have read this book so much he can almost say the lines before you do. I personally think that is adorable.
What is this book? Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear? by Nancy White Carlstrom. He asks to read it multiple times a day, especially before nap and bedtime. He will even chant the story during his play time.
Do your children have any favorite books that they can't go a day ... or even a few hours ... without? I'd love to hear about them.
And stick around because this book has been part of our reading curriculum for Seanan due to an upcoming review. I also have my first TOS review up this week as well as some other reviews and giveaways. I have a feeling that September will be a hopping month!

Goodnight Moon was my son's favorite for a while. Kinda sad that he outgrew that.
Thanks for joining the blog hop!
I have a few I can still recite from memory even though ti's been years. Sometimes, at bedtime, I will use one, and the boys act appalled, but I think they secretly love them. The top three are A Napping House by Audrey Wood, I Love You as Much by Laura Krauss Melmed, and Time for Bed by Mem Fox.
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. :)
