Although I have already done a majority of my shopping, I have only gotten my immediate family. I am still trying to find a few items for my parents and my siblings as well as my husband's families. Most of their gifts will be homemade. However a few people (namely my sister and my mom) I get "real" gifts.
I can't put what their gifts are (because occasionally they read my blog), but I was able to get a gift for my mom. I hope she likes it.
So do any of you have ideas for homemade gifts that are unique? I also am looking for a SIMPLE pattern for an apron bib that I want to make for my girls. I am NOT a seamstress by any stretch of the imagination so it would have to be really, really easy.
And be sure to head on over to Garden of Learning to see what others are saying about their Holiday Bliss.

Do you have a way to print pictures? Homemade photo albums or picture frames with pictures would be fun. ;-)
My mother makes bib aprons out of tea towels and they come out so cute! she adds a little fancy stitching or an appliqué and they look like they came from a boutique. I'm sure there's a pattern online, let me see. Yes, I found it. All you need is tea towels and ribbon.

My dad has a family reunion on the 4th of July every year. One year I made him a scrapbook of the pictures I took & he loved it. He had to show it to everyone that came over.
My mom likes when I give her pictures, in frames. She also likes her favorite homemade spice tea with a new mug. I might have to do that for her this year. It has been quite awhile since I have done so.
I just posted my easy bib apron using napkins on my blog. Your post motivated me to try to get it done. :)
