Spring Has Come and the Businesses of Life

The last few months have been quite a blur with the beginning of spring, a homeschool convention, a whirlwind impromptu trip to Chicago, a rise in my Pampered Chef business, as well as my husband's schedule and trying to figure out his career/work options in his pursuit to getting his PhD. Not to mention homeschooling 3 kiddos, babysitting, and just plain old life.

So I plan on having a few upcoming blog posts on each of these, but I did want to let you all know and to ask you if you could join with us in prayer.  My husband had been pursuing his PhD at a local university and we have officially heard that they were unable to accept him this year.  We (him really) are now in the process of figuring out what we will be doing over the summer and the upcoming year in regards to a job/finances.

Thankfully, my Pampered Chef business has been increasing and I am on my way to becoming a Director in the company (which is my goal by the end of the year.)  I joined as an Independent Consultant at the end of March last year to help supplement our income and pay for a few bills since my husband is an adjunct and does side tutoring and sometimes that just helps us get by.  But since December I have really put some effort into my business and I have seen a remarkable change in my customer sales and shows that I host.  I have been amazed to see how God is blessing my new business, while not interrupting the flow of our homeschool routine.

If any of you are interested you can always find my business at my personal website, business email, or business Facebook page.  I will be hosting a giveaway on my Facebook page once I reach 50 "likes" so I hope you join me over there.  I try to keep you up to date with new specials, recipes and cooking tips.  And this month is special because I am trying to meet a goal of selling 50 Help Whip Cancer "PINK" products (there is a selection of 3 and you can earn one extra FREE with a $60 order) where each product sold will have $1 donated to the American Cancer Society.

I will have a more detailed blog on this as well, but wanted to get the word out early.  If you would like to help me meet my goal which would in turn help raise awareness about breast cancer as well as giving free educational materials please leave a comment or reach me at one of the other links.  Thank you for spreading the word to all your friends and families too.

For more information about the Help Whip Cancer Campaign, hosting a Fundrasier Cooking Show, or purchasing the Help Whip Cancer exclusive products, please feel free to contact me, Kellyann Walker, an Independent Consultant of The Pampered Chef by email or through my website.
