"I Will Praise You" (and Giveaway!!)

I was given the privilege of reviewing the newest offering of Rebecca St. James, "I Will Praise You."  It is a worship CD and her first studio work since 2005.  Tomorrow is the release date of this album, and I think this one is pretty awesome.

My favorite thing when I get a new CD is to open it up take out the words and read them while listening.  It helps me learn and remember the songs.  I was so happy when I opened up the words to this CD.  Each song has a Scripture reference written underneath it.  There is also a brief blurb about the song itself (why or how it was created; tidbits of information from Rebecca.)  These two things made my heart sing.  I love to sing.  I love worship.  And I love it when I'm singing along with someone who has put a lot of their personal worship and prayer time with the Lord down onto paper and share those personal times with me.  That is why I LOVE this CD!
There are 10 tracks including the title "I Will Praise You," "You Still Amaze Me," and "You Make Everything Beautiful."  Those three tracks really spoke to me.  You can share a preview of the CD when you go to Rebecca's Listening Party.  She says that this is "her most personal recording to date."
