Blog Party Time!!

I have just recently found out about this party.  It's called the Ultimate Blog Party.  It's a place to meet new friends and hop from blog to blog.  Sounds like fun.  So before I go to far I want to stop and give you an introduction to me, my famiy, and my blog.

I am a stay-at-home mom of three wonderful children (7.5, 5.5, and 2.)  My husband is currently working as a professional math tutor, as well as a college adjunct professor, as well as going back to school and in a statistics certificate program.  (I know that's a LOT to be doing ... trust me it gets crazy here!)  I also watch 2 children twice a week (whom I adore.)  All the while, we are a homeschooling family who tends to be classical in style with a little unit studies thrown in for flavor.  Oh and I can't forget my newest "job" I just joined up to become a Pampered Chef Consultant (on a side note - anyone want to hold a catalog show or cooking show, I'd LOVE to host one for you!!)  So how's that!  I know sounds tiring to me too. ;)  But, I wouldn't change it for the world!

I love to read, but find it hard to find time to do that.  I also want to learn how to sew and have plans to start teaching myself in May once it's a little less hectic with my husband's schedule.  Some of my other passions include crafty things like scrapbooking, photography, making cakes,  as well as cooking with my husband.

I started blogging a little over a year ago.  When I started I didn't think it would turn into what it has, but I am glad that it did.  I enjoy writing and being able to share with others my triumphs and trials.  I also do reviews for the TOS Homeschool Crew (and I've put in an application to be on again next year, too.)  I also do reviews for some other companies.  Some of those upcoming reviews include books, DVD's, and a music CD.

I try to intersperse my reviews with posts on memes that I find interesting or helpful (like the Fit Mommy Friday meme), family life, anything related to homeschooling (including curriculum choices, nature study, and Tot school), and anything else I feel that needs to be shared.

I hope you can take a minute or two and peruse my blog and leave me a note.  I'd love to get to "know" you too.  You can find me on Facebook  (I would LOVE some new followers), follow me with Google Friend Connect (on the right- I only need one more for 100!) or you can subscribe to my blog.  I also have giveaways so be sure to check on back  - never know what you might be able to win.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you often!! ;)

Hi! Just stopped by from the Ultimate Blog Party. I love pampered chef. You're going to have so much fun!

The train cake pictures were very cute. I'm going to have to see if I can find something like that for my son's birthday.

Hi Kelly!! Thanks so much for visiting my party post today! I'm still so glad we got to meet and hang out a bit at the convention! Maybe we can do it again next year! I'm sure I'll be sending some "classical questions" your way as we get closer to the next school year too. :)

Hi! I'm stopping by from the UBP - I'm #73 (Being Made New - http://tinahollenbeck.blogspot.com). You and I have a lot in common - very busy hubbies, homeschooling, watching other people's children, too - so I hope you might stop by my place this week. :^)
