Want to Know What My Girls Think?

This week's question for The Old Schoolhouse Blog Cruise is directed to children.

There are actually three questions.  I will separate them so you can see them a little bit better.  I also had both Arianna and Audrie answer them so you can see their personalities a little bit better.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Why does your family homeschool?
"Because you think it's better for us.  Because we don't have to work as long.  We get to spend more time with our family." Arianna

"Because it is the best idea.  Because it is fun!"  Audrie

What is your favorite part of homeschooling?
"Being home with you (mommy), daddy, and Audrie and Seanan.  Oh and getting to play with Savtah a lot."  Arianna

"Doing all my books.  I like doing crafts and coloring and painting." Audrie

What do you want to be when you grow up?

"A ballet teacher." Arianna

(As a side note she's never even had dance lessons.  They were in gymnastics for a few years but when I stopped working there to have Seanan, we ended up not being able to get back to it)

"A doctor and a chef too!  You what else I want to be? a candy person!" Audrie

So there you have it. My girls answers to some pretty cool questions. What are you children's answers to these questions? And if you want to read more be sure to go to the Blog Cruise and check out what other Crew member children's answered.

I enjoyed reading your girls' answers! My favorite - "because we get to spend more time with the family"...that's my favorite part too!

I had to chuckle at the ballerina side note. My 16 year old also wants to be a ballerina or ballet teacher but has never once had a dance lesson. I haven't been able to justify the funds for it because if I let one girl go, then all 6 will want to go and......well, it is as it is I suppose. I enjoyed your girls' answers.

Loved the ballet teacher one, too! My 3yo's plan is to be one, also - She had a couple months of classes, but spent them all sitting on the sidelines, so I finally took her out. Maybe she should switch to candy person - that sounds a lot more fun!
