2010 Gratitude Challenege - November 11th

It seems as if I got a little behind on these. Last night I had a horrible migraine and so when we got back from church (and packing up our Operation Christmas Child boxes) I just tried to lie still and let the headache ease away. Night before last, I just ran out of time. I know that sounds, bad, but that's what happened.

So today is Veteran's Day. I am thankful for all the men and women that I know and don't know who sacrifice their lives to protect mine. That is the ultimate act of love and I really do appreciate all of you out there.

I am especially thankful for my little brother. He's been in the military for about 10 years and has sacrificed A LOT! He has been oversees more time then in the states (or at least that's how it seems to me.) I am glad to know that my brother is home, he's safe, and he will be able to spend the holidays with us ... in person.

I'm happy your brother is home, too. I hope you enjoy him over the holidays. He has my heartfelt thanks for his service.
